THE SPARK OF AN IDEA

The journey began with a simple frustration: jewelry shouldn’t be disposable. After watching expensive pieces turn green, rust, and fade during one of the most important events of my life, I reached a turning point. That defining moment lit a spark to create something different: jewelry that truly endures, carrying the memories, emotions, and symbols we wear to keep those we love close.

THE BIRTH OF LAKI

Struggling to find jewelry that could be worn every day through work, travel, workouts, important events, and even sleep, Ghida began researching durable, water-resistant materials. The idea for Laki was born, named in tribute to women, the source of all life. The first collection was crafted from high-quality stainless steel with 18K gold plating, offering durability without compromise.

THE FIRST POP UP: LAKI x AUB

Our first physical pop-up took place at the American University of Beirut, featuring Laki’s best-sellers. We welcomed more than 65 customers to the stand, where they had the chance to experience our jewelry firsthand. The brand quickly gained traction for its blend of style, strength, and sentimentality, resonating with customers who seek jewelry that both endures and stands out.

Meeting Our Community In Real Life

In Spring 2025, Laki was selected as a vendor at the American University of Beirut Spring Fair, a two-day event bringing together local brands. This moment marked our first offline presence where we had the honour to finally meet a lot of you.

Over two days, more than 50 of you stopped by our kiosk to experience the collection in person. To show our appreciation for those of you who supported our first debut event, we shared an exclusive 10% discount. It was our way of saying thank you for being part of our story from the very start.
